Dingle Peninsula – Perfect Place For Touring

You've arrived in the southwest corner of Ireland, beautiful County Kerry, and you've got everything set up and ready to go.

But where and what to do? No visiting traveler or tourist should take a spectacular tour of the Dingle Peninsula without a plan and a map; and the conscientious traveler might want to add some convenient phrases from Gaeltacht, as this part of Ireland is mostly Irish.

The Dingle Peninsula is a landmass jutting into the Atlantic Ocean and overlooking the Slive Mish Mountains. You can also look for morning tours from Dublin online. The landscape is constantly changing and during your tour, you will see dramatic dark mountains, pristine coastlines, and bustling villages and towns.

There are two ways to explore the peninsula – from the comfort of your car or via the tough walking tour of the Dingle Way – 179 km of sailing, hiking trails, and mountain trails. Most people start their tour to Dingle in Tralee, County Kerry County.

From Tralee head southwest to camp and Castlegregory. Whether you're traveling by car or on foot, you'll see the beautiful Dingle mansions and farms that dot the area.

In the last stage, you travel to Anascaul. The views are stunning and you are not far from beautiful Inch Beach, with its golden sands and dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the McGillicudy River.

The 180-kilometer tour can be completed in a few days, but we recommend planning several stops.
