Here are the five main components without which a hydraulic lift would be incomplete-
- Platform – The platform is located on the very top of the lift. This is where you will have to place your object, whatever it may be. Based on the weight of the object being lifted, the size of the platform and its carrying capacity can be adjusted.
- Base- Now we're going right down to the bottom to the portion of the lift which is in contact with the floor. This is an essential component because it will determine how the scissors' legs travel.
- Scissors legs– The whole purpose of the machine is to lift heavy goods from one level to another. The scissors' legs would allow you to change the elevation from lower to higher or vice versa.
